Fourth studio album from Ridgewood, New Jersey's Real Estate. In Mind was originally recorded during the summer of 2016 following the departure of founding guitarist Matt Mondanile. The band's tranquil soft rock sound still prevails, bringing listeners down to their methodically crafted pace. Mondanile's replacement on guitar, Julian Lynch, may have a more biting tone, but the band is more familiar and comforting than ever. It's as if frontman Martin Courtney has found an even more perfect setting for his ruminations on suburban malaise and life as a family man. Eleven tracks in all. Released by Domino on black vinyl housed in a full color sleeve with a digital download.
