Proper double vinyl version of Chromatics' Kill For Love. Kill For Love follows up 2010's Night Drive and continues the Chromatics journey into lands of emotive, 80's-inspired rock sounds. Johnny Jewel still handles production duties, and has fine tuned his craft with a careful balance of moody synths, analog drum machines, and melancholy guitars. He's pretty much mastered the sound by now, and with Ruth Radelet adding those smokey, love torn vocals, you've got the perfect soundtrack for a night drive to a secret rendezvous. Highlights include "Lady," "Back From The Grave," "Kill For Love," "These Streets Will Never Look The Same," "Matter Of Time," and "There's A Light Out On The Horizon." Recommended.
