Creature Dreams is Jennifer Lee aka TOKiMONSTA's second EP, and the LA beats luminary, with support from Mary Ann Hobbs and Flying Lotus, continues to showcase her ability to churn out some of the heaviest, spaced-out, and melody-driven beats in the scene. "Fallen Arches" opens up the release with harpsichord loops and effects-drenched drums, followed by "Little Pleasures," which features a catchy hook from Gavin Turek. Also check out "Bright Shadows," and "Stigmatizing Sex," or "Darkest," another excellent, emotion-charged track featuring the hypnotic vocals of GT. Originally released in 2011, this is the 2017 colored vinyl repress on Tokimonsta's own Young Arts label. Recommended.
